  • 2024 Public Affairs Pulse Survey

    Public Affairs Pulse Survey conducted by Morning Consult looks at U.S. public opinion on issues intersecting business, government and society. 

    Key findings include:

    • Nearly half (49%) expect violent protests if Trump loses, but 41% are worried about violence even if Trump wins. Whether violence erupts or not, most Americans expect post-election protests – 62% if Trump wins and 64% if Harris wins.
    • More than two-thirds of Americans (68%) believe disinformation will affect the outcome of the elections, compared to 63% last year. Only 4% believe disinformation won’t be a factor.
    • With a 42% trust level, the Democratic Party is now considered a more trustworthy source of political information and news than the news media (40%), and is only surpassed by friends and family (67%).
